Seasons Changing

The date is 9-22-2014 and me, myself and my Camera decided to take a drive.

The season is changing and summer is leaving us as fast as it had arrived.
There will be no complaints here however.
FALL is my favorite time of the year, all allergies aside.
We finally get to break out the Hoodies, Hats, Thermals, our favorite jeans.
I basically transform myself into my 17 yr old self, fashionably that is. (GRUNGE!!!)

Take a walk with me as we see the subtle changes that are creating FALL.

As per a suggestion by a friend of mine on Facebook.
A picture of this tree will be posted every day until it has no leaves.
Thank you friend who suggested this little project.
Want to follow the "A Tree Story"? Check it out on our Facebook page.

We start to notice more and more leaves in the storm drains.

The 'Roberts Park' sign starts growing its hair out and parting it on the side.
This sealed the deal on fall for me. (Ha,Ha.)

This is a statue in front of the "Park Pool".
The only children that will be at the pool 24/7/365.
Be envious!

The big red doors are all locked up and warning you that you ARE on camera.
SMILE!

If you have been to the Connersville Park Pool,
you know of the two slides that were added.
These 9 plaques hold the name of every individual who made the slides possible.
It's unity like this that can bring great strides to a community.
If you're ever by the building go and check it out and see how many people donated.

The pool is drained.
To the left are the two slides I spoke of in the previous picture.
All is still, except for maybe a few vagabonds in animal form.

Looking away from the pool, all is still as well.
You can see one car, MINE!

THIS has to be one of the BEST known spots in all of Connersville for photographers.
Look on any local photographers page and they will have at least 1 picture by the bridge.
Heck, I bet almost anyone who has EVER taken a picture has one by the bridge.
(Feel free to post your bridge pictures in the comments. I would love to see them.)

There is still some color left in the world.
For now anyway.

As the weeks will pass, we will see more of these colors and less purple.

A drive into the country reveals an entirely different feel.
A lot of green, yellow, and blue. Today was breezy, cool, and sunny.
You couldn't ask for a better day to go out and enjoy being human.

That concludes today's stroll through Connersville, Indiana.
FALL is here and so are several months of festivities and family bonding.
Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New years and Valentines day.
Enjoy your Fall and Winter months my friends. They are the biggest part of our memories.
